Mt Hutt

Well the semester has ended and im done with school. For the first order of business, im going skiing. Mt Hutt ski field is the first ski area open in New Zealand and me and a couple kiwis take full advantage of that opportunity:

Bealey Spur

The last trek on the south island. Up in Arthur's pass, the wolf pack hiked up to the top where we gazed out at sun setting on a 360 degree panorama of snow capped mountains! We did a bit of sheep chasing as well, don't worry, the sheep isnt dead.

Dunedin

A night on the town in Dunedin with Jeff and Casper. Checking out the steepest street in the world, the Speights brewery and the rare yellow eyed penguin

Copeland Trek

This is my favorite hike I've gone on since i sot here. The hike is 17 kilometers longs which is the same as about 11 miles. The hike itself isn't that challenging but more exhausting and tiring. Once you reach the ht at the end, there are natural hot pools that you can take a dip in. After a night of relaxing and a deep sleep, we made our way back to the cars but Ben and I decided to run the 17 Ks with 25 pound packs on. Then decided to take a dip in the freezing river. Not a bad trip eh?

Avalanche Peak

Been wanting to climb this peak the entire time i've been here. The track we climbed was called Scott's Trail and i went with 5 Americans and a Swed. It was one beautiful Trek.
